Dear Parents,

The response of our community to the ‘new normal’ has been heartening, including respecting the careful protocols put in place to manage essential visitors to the campuses. Our shared commitment to supporting the government’s measures to combat the spread of COVID-19 will continue to help us keep our community safe and well.

We continue to ask parents to restrict ad hoc visits to campus to an essential minimum. However, as we have become more practised with temperature screening protocols for campus visitors, from this week all parents coming on to campus will also have their temperature checked on arrival. Please make a point of looking out for the temperature check stations on each campus.

In light of this change, it may now be possible for small groups of parents to enter campus for activities that have been pre-approved by the Head of Campus. Please note, this is not a blanket permission for parent groups to resume activities – but where it is possible to accommodate requests safely, we will try and support them.

Thank you for your support.

Sincerely,

Elizabeth Bray, Head of UWCSEA Dover
Graham Silverthorne, Head of UWCSEA East
