Dear Parents,

As we prepare for some of our students to return to campus beginning tomorrow, we write again with some important reminders and resources.

Temperature checks and declarations
Any student coming on campus must have their temperature taken and recorded in CIMS before leaving home. You can log in here to do so or click the link on the UWCSEA homepage.

As a reminder, all students are required to have an up to date travel declaration and to declare any isolation orders. These declarations can be completed via the same link.

Drop off by car
We also remind parents that if you are driving your child(ren) to campus, you must wear a mask and stay inside your car during drop-off. Adults will be there to help younger students find their way to class.

Webinar follow up
Thank you to all of the parents who joined us for the webinar with Dr Guillaume Pollet of International SOS on Friday evening. For those who were unable to attend, you can find the recording of the webinar here. The Medical FAQs from the session will be shared at a later date, as Dr Pollet is reviewing them now. The Operational FAQs that were raised during the webinar are available on our ‘Return to Campus’ page (link below).

Summer Activities Programme
We are aware that many parents are keen to hear about our plans for an extended Activities programme over the holiday break. We are in the process of getting approval from CPE for our plan, taking into account the current restrictions of Phase 1, and acknowledging that we don’t yet know when Phase 2 will begin. We will share with parents as soon as we have initial approval. Sign-up and allocation will be similar to the normal sign-up and allocation process.

Health Advisory Site and Return to Campus
We have created a ‘Return to Campus’ section on our Health Advisory Site that gathers together key communications about the return to campus along with some videos and other resources. Please refer to the Dover or East page for campus-specific information and welcome back to school videos for our younger students.

We very much look forward to having children back on our campuses tomorrow and to seeing many of our K1–G11 students over the next three weeks. Thank you once again for your support.

Yours sincerely,

Elizabeth Bray, Head of UWCSEA Dover
Graham Silverthorne, Head of UWCSEA East
