Dear Parents,

As we come to the end of term, planning for August is well underway and we ask now for your support in ensuring that we are as prepared as we can be in these uncertain times.

We need all parents to update their household travel declarations. Please log in to our system to complete travel declarations for your children, even if you are not planning to travel. This information helps us to prepare for the start of the school year and to respond to any requests from the authorities for information on the quarantine status of our community. Please complete by Monday, 7 June.

We have written before about the importance of the first weeks of school for all students and our strong recommendation that they are here for the beginning of the school year. A reminder too that there will be limited provision for home-based learning for students whose entry to Singapore is delayed for immigration reasons as the majority of students will be on campus. Finally, if you are overseas now or go overseas and have to withdraw your children from the College for immigration reasons, the College has put in place special refund arrangements. Please click here for further information.

We hope home-based learning is going well for those students at home. After Prime Minister Lee’s address yesterday, we are hopeful that after 13 June we will be able to bring students on campus in some capacity to finish the year together. We will keep you updated on developments.

Thank you for your support in completing your declarations in the coming days and please do contact us if you have any questions.

Yours sincerely,

Nick Alchin, Head of UWCSEA East
Elizabeth Bray, Head of UWCSEA Dover
