Dear Parents,
Late on Friday night we received an updated advisory from the Committee for Private Education (CPE), who, with an abundance of caution, are now strongly advising that international schools remain on home-based learning (HBL) until the end of the heightened alert phase on 13 June. We are therefore cancelling the plans shared with you in the last couple of days, and maintaining arrangements as they have been since Wednesday, 19 May.
This means that most students and teachers will be on HBL until 13 June. We still very much hope that students will have time together in person before the end of the school year and will keep you updated on developments.
Activities that were possible to move online have changed some of their start times to facilitate a return to campus. We will be sticking with the new start times to avoid any confusion for our students or our providers.
A reminder of the arrangements at the moment, which will continue until further notice.

We appreciate the ongoing challenge this is for our families and our staff, who have worked tirelessly to prepare for a phased return to campus from Monday. We are sorry to change again at short notice, but are committed to following the advice of the regulators.
Please let us know if you have any further questions and we hope you have a restful weekend.
Sincerely,
Nick Alchin, Head of UWCSEA East
Elizabeth Bray, Head of UWCSEA Dover
