Dear Parents,

We look forward to welcoming the majority of students back to campus on Monday, and write with some brief guidelines in response to questions from parents. As we return to school we will be once more working under prevailing government guidelines regarding Safe Management Measures.

A reminder that the last day of Home Based Learning is today Friday, 14 January. We will not be offering HBL to any students from Monday, even those who have not yet been able to return to Singapore. As previously communicated, teachers cannot deliver HBL and face-to-face learning simultaneously and must prioritise those students in the classroom.

We are aware that some families are still on their 7-day testing regime after returning from overseas, and may not have completed the regime before Monday. Although Government guidelines say that you are free to move around during that time, we request that students do not come to school until they have completed their test each day (in the case where the supervised test can only be scheduled in the afternoon, please conduct a self-administered test that morning before coming to school).

A further reminder that parents can continue to come on campus by appointment via Envoy during school hours. After school hours (after 3.30pm) and on the weekend, parents can come on campus without an appointment. However, all visitors to campus must be vaccinated and must be prepared to show confirmation of vaccination using the TraceTogether app.

Our community relies on everyone taking care of each other by following the guidelines. Please do keep your children at home if they show signs of being unwell. We appreciate your support in keeping our community safe and healthy.

Very much looking forward to seeing the happy faces of your children on campus on Monday!

Yours sincerely,
Elizabeth Bray, Head of UWCSEA Dover
Nick Alchin, Head of UWCSEA East
